Welcome

Welcome to Trearth – Enjoy your stay in our well equipped holiday home

Trearth is a 3 bedroom fully equipped self-catering holiday home which has earned a 4 star rating from the English Tourist Council.  The house is one mile from the sea at Treyarnon Bay and three miles from Padstow and situated within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

We have now entered our 12th season and we are very pleased that so many people continue to enjoy their holidays at Trearth.

The sandy “Seven Bays of St. Merryn” (Porthcothan, Treyarnon, Constantine, Booby’s, Mother Iveys, Harlyn and Trevone Bays) are all within easy reach and are wonderful family beaches with lovely golden sand for sand castles and rock pools for exploring.  Try body boarding and surfing and don’t forget  coasteering for the more adventurous.

Trearth is one mile from the village of St. Merryn which has several restaurants and 2 pubs – The Farmers’ Arms and Rick Stein’s Cornish Arms and not too far from Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant in Padstow and Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Cornwall at Watergate Bay.

Trearth is ideally situated for for exploring the North Cornwall coast – either walking or driving.  For the keen walker all the points on the 65 mile stretch from St. Agnes to Boscastle can be reached in less than 45 minutes by car. Using local buses to return to your parked car avoids the need to retrace your steps.

For a low-cost treat, book a Flybe or Lufthansa flight to Newquay airport well in advance, choose an off-peak week at Trearth, and rent a car (or take a local bus) at the airport. Trearth is a bit over 7 miles, 15+ minutes,  from the airport!

In the photo above we’re looking South and Trearth is the 2nd bungalow from the left.  On the horizon the tower of the 13th century church of St. Eval can be seen.
